When asked to revise the script or add options without being paid, television writers' strike caused Hollywood to panic because there were no movies to sell advertisements.
Since May 2, around 11,500 Hollywood screenwriters have gone on strike and protested to demand fairer wages in line with the revenue generated in the online era. It is known that this is the first strike targeting Hollywood in 15 years, as the average salary of screenwriters and producers has decreased by 23% in the past decade. Experts are concerned that a prolonged strike will cause financial damage to the television advertising industry.
